Just curious to see if anyone has implemented OAuth authentication within a WordPress Plugin?
I have been doing a little research and haven't stumbled upon any yet...
Hi there Jake, we haven't come across any examples just yet (all the WordPress plugins on our Integrations pages still use the old API key authentication method), but we don't see any reason why oAuth wouldn't work. If you come across any hurdles, be sure to let us know, though!
WordPress is one of the powerful content management systems to build website or blog. There are lots of themes, plugins etc. available by default or you can download them from sites like nullit.net at free of cost. The OAuth plugin you are talking about for WordPress allows users to get authentication against any OAuth provider. Though I have spent lots of time understanding this authentication application but haven’t used it yet. I think this link http://developer.wordpress.com/docs/oauth2/ will help you to know about that. Hope it will clear all your doubt.
