Fields are not required in code.

Hi,

I noticed that after creating custom fields and marking them as "required", those fields will not actually be required after I get the code for my form. Am I doing something wrong?

Here is a screenshot of the workaround, which is entering the word "required" into the code: http://screencast.com/t/WVrL7j2l09

Thanks!

Hi there Taylor - thank you so much for pointing this out! I just replicated this on my end, so I'll bring it to the attention of our dev team right now. So sorry for the trouble here - we'll be sure to get in touch once this is fixed.

Hi Taylor and Rosanne,

The <required> tag is supported in Internet Explorer 10, Firefox, Opera, and Chrome.

The required attribute of the <input> tag is not supported in Internet Explorer 9 and earlier versions, or in Safari.

dedra, thanks for letting us know - for now, it may be advisable to add your own validation using JS for a (nearly) bulletproof fix.
