Campaign Report Detail ID

Hi there

I'd like to be able to give my users a link to the report detail page for a given campaign, but I don't know how to get the report detail ID that is used in the URLs.

The report page I'm referring to is this one:

I need a way of getting the 1234AB56C78901DE code so I can construct the URL for them.

Hi there Mike, as this isn't a public URL, your users or clients will need access to your account in order to view the report. With that out of the way, you can get the ID by getting the campaign's share link and copying the ID following "" (or similar). For example: -> C87966AE8C294796

Generally what folks do is use the "Export report" button on the "Campaign Snapshot" to download the report in PDF format. You can then email around the results instead :)

Thanks, Mike - I hope this helps, but let us know if we can lend a hand with anything else here. :)

Thanks Ros. That all sounds fine, but how do I find out the Share link. I can't find any way to do that using the API. I've been looking here: Is there somewhere else I should be looking?

Hi Mike,

The lists of draft, scheduled, and sent campaigns all include a "preview URL" or "web version URL" in each Campaign object. Those are the share URLs that Ros is referring to.

Be aware that URL construction isn't something which is explicitly supported by Campaign Monitor. We reserve the right to modify internal routes like the campaign report detail at any time. It's not something we would do lightly, or very often, but we can't promise to keep supporting "campaignReportDetail.aspx?ID={campaignID}" forever.

See why 200,000 companies worldwide love Campaign Monitor.

From Australia to Zimbabwe, and everywhere in between, companies count on Campaign Monitor for email campaigns that boost the bottom line.
