Adding a custom tag to an RSS Item link

Hi,

I have a recurring RSS campaign. I need to implement a custom tag into the <rssitemlink> to append a personalised tag onto the URL.

For example, if the URL in the RSS is http://www.something.com/page/ I need this to be http://www.something.com/page?cm_email=subscriber@gmail.com where the email address is inserted via personalisation from the subscriber database.

Is this possible? If so, how would I change the <rssitemlink> tag in the template?

Thanks,

Paul

Unfortunately, you can't do that with the  <rssitemlink> tag at this time, as it's designed to output a fully formed <a href="..> tag.  I've gone ahead and added a feature request for you in our system and we'll get in touch if it's something we develop in the future.

+1 from me for this feature too

Any word on whether it is likely to be developed soon?

+1 for me as well.

I am trying to add custom RSS feed generated from Wordpress with custom tags and there is no way to show those tags.

Would really appreciate this functionality. Simple use case would be:

 <rsstag tagname="customtag">

Thanks
