I have a newsletter that has the css embedded into the html page. However, the newsletter that gets sent out seem to strip of of this out?
Is this normal?
Not at all Deco, we certainly don't strip out your CSS automatically, and only convert it to inline CSS if you select to when importing your content. If the version you're receiving is different o the one you're importing into your account, I'd recommend getting in touch with support so we can look a little deeper into it for you.
As Dave mentioned, we don't strip it out, but some email clients do remove CSS from the head - Gmail for example - and only leave inline styles.
Checkout http://www.campaignmonitor.com/css for a run down of what CSS is and is not supported by the major email clients.
I did a little more reading and need to test a little more! BTW could you answer my Campaign.send question?
So here is my link:
But when I send this through Campaign monitor funny things happen! Like the color goes away!
