Hey people, this is an observation regarding image maps inside a VML block when viewed in Outlook 2007/2010/2013.
I was trying to understand why an image map wouldn't work where the same map code worked previously. As soon as I removed the VML block which preceded and enclosed it, the image map worked.
If anyone knows why, it'd be great to understand more about this. I suspect Outlook is rendering the entire VML block as an image and throwing off the coordinates specified in the map.
