I would like to know if it's possible to return a response to the webhook POST request from the script that receives the webhook call.
My script receives the CM webhook post, processes it and syncs the CM data to a third party app. Naturally during this process things can go wrong - for example the third party app's database is temporarily inaccessible - and I would like to be able to return response to the CM webhook, so that CM knows the webhook call failed and should be retried.
My script's in PHP and I tried using
header('HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error', true, 500);
but neither seems to work (the webhook post is not rescheduled and tried again).
The documentation doesn't have any information on this topic.
Many thanks in advance.
