Unsubscribe within <singleline>

Hey guys,

We currently translate our emails to over 22 different languages and thus need the ability to add in translatable text easily.

We currently do this in our templates using the `singleline` and `multiline` tags, which works perfectly, however we can't seem to get this working for the Unsubscribe links.

I assumed that setting:

<unsubscribe>
    <singleline>
        Unsubscribe
    </singleline>
</unsubscribe>

Would have fixed this. However it appears that the singleline encoding goes in as the URL and breaks the link.

And when switching the unsubscribe and singleline tags to have:

<singleline>
    <unsubscribe>
        Unsubscribe
    </unsubscribe>
</singleline>

The following error is thrown when uploading the template:

We require a single-click unsubscribe link in every campaign you send. Please add the tags <unsubscribe> and </unsubscribe> around the words you want to become an unsubscribe link.

Thanks for any info,

Jonny.

Hey there, Jonny! Great question. Unfortunately it's not possible to have the unsubscribe link within an editable section as that would allow people to essentially get rid of the unsubscribe. Your best option in this situation is probably to create separate templates for the various languages and add the appropriate unsubscribe message in each. Does that make sense?

Thanks for your reply Balthazar, that makes a lot of sense, and also makes sense why it isn't made editable!

We'll tackle this by duplicating the template into different languages.

Thanks again,
Jonny
