Convert HTML to Plain Text

Anyone know of a utility for Mac to convert HTML emails into Plain Text, a la the function built right into Campaign Monitor?

I love the functionality of this utility in Campaign Monitor (preserves links) but would love to be able to do it locally, set up the hard wrap and then just paste into Campaign Monitor.

Any ideas?

Do you have something like BBEdit - it has a 'remove markup' command. In other text editors you might find a similar command, or the ability to run a Regex that could do it.

there is a handy "strip html tag form document/selection" in text Mate too.

Thanks zapatoche, I forgot that one even though I use TextMate every day myself!

Thanks for the responses.

I do use BBEdit and have tried the 'Remove Markup' command. It works great, the only thing it doesn't retain then obviously are the URL's - which is a nice feature of Campaign's utility.

Working on a newsletter for example with many links to paste back in becomes cumbersome.
