I'd like to set up a template that my client can use for a monthly newsletter. She's not html savvy, but capable and willing enough to input the content herself. I saw that MailBuild supports templates, but all the client info resides in Campaign Monitor. I rather not bounce between the two.
Is there a service or function where I can define editable areas (using my handcrafted inline css styles), my client can make simple edits, and finally send/save for me? Thanks.
There is a service like that - it's MailBuild! That's exactly what MailBuild is for, but you would have to export her lists and import them into MailBuild. You can have all your clients that need templates in a MailBuild account, and others in your Campaign Monitor account.
You can even have a single login form on your website that will direct the client to whichever application their account is in.
Thanks, I saw that MailBuild was good for that. Is there a seamless way to maintain the subscription lists across the tools?
Not automatically, no - they are two separate products, so you would want the list to have one home. You can use the APIs to sync things though, if you have development skills available.
