At Campaign Monitor, we're all about crafting beautiful experiences for designers. 2011 is shaping up to be a big year for us, and we're looking for two talented people to join our design team in Sydney.
Since 2004 we've been hard at work making email marketing easy for designers and their clients. In the last 12 months we've doubled our customer base, delivered billions of emails, eaten 4,418 catered lunches and played 15,577 games of ping pong.
We've got even bigger plans for 2011 (plus, our topspin backhand still needs work). Want to join the team?
As a member of the UI team, you'll be responsible for shaping the entire Campaign Monitor experience.
This isn't just how our stuff looks, it's how it works. We're looking for someone that knows the only way to create the best experience is to combine a passion for clarity, a truckload of prototyping and obsessive attention to detail.
You'll need a good understanding of typography, spacing, copywriting and general UI best practice (and when to ignore best practice). Finally, you'll need good front end development skills to pull all the pieces together for the rest of the team to run with.
We're looking for someone to help define the way we sell Campaign Monitor to the world. We want you to challenge our status quo and lead us in a new visual direction. We want to be surprised, and we want our customers to be blown away.
You'll play a major part in a new marketing site for Campaign Monitor. After that you'll be building landing pages for big product updates that people can't help but share, sites for fun promos we're running, t-shirts and loads more.
We're not just after a talent for crafting beautiful designs, but a passion for communicating with clarity. Read that again. Clarity. If that word doesn't resonate with you, you're not for us. I hear Nokia is hiring though.
Building awesome software is hard, so we've gone to great lengths to create an environment where you can get stuff done.
Everyone gets their own private office. Shut the door and you won't be bothered. Lunches are free, catered and we all eat together every day. Most importantly, you'll have challenging and interesting problems to solve that reach hundreds of thousands every day.
Send through the position you're applying for, relevant samples of your work, a little about yourself and anything else that helps you stand out from the crowd to designer@campaignmonitor.com.
