Nofollow Links

A nofollow link is used to instruct search engines that a link should not be crawled or impact the linked website’s ranking. Nofollow information is not displayed on a page, but within the HTML code of a web page as: <a href=”” rel=”nofollow”>Google Nofollow link text</a>. While a nofollow link does not impact a link’s rank, it does still, however, build site and brand awareness.
